Elly Jackson

College of Social Sciences and Humanities

Elly Jackson uses SAIL in her advanced writing class for an assignment she created called the gap. The gap is a project designed to give students the opportunity to work on a skill that they otherwise wouldn’t have time to do. This can be mastering something they’re familiar with, or trying something for the first time. The students reflect on the assignment using a variety of SAIL skills and foundational masteries, discussing how they were used while learning the skills they chose.
